Our Wider Community

We have very strong links with local schools and work cohesively with the Woking Schools Learning Partnership (WSLP) to provide professional development for all staff, to share good practice and to enhance pupil learning through a wide range of both academic and pastoral activities. We actively promote courageous advocacy through a range of child-initiated and child-led charitable acts throughout the year.

We encourage global awareness through our cross-curricular approach, linked particularly to Religious Education and Geography topics. We have been given International School Status through our values-based work with schools abroad, most recently Iraq, and our Modern Foreign Languages programme, which includes the teaching of French across the whole school, an additional language for Year 6 and a range of Comenius/ Erasmus supported projects with international schools: click here for more information about some of these projects.

Community

The school plays a key role in our community. Our children have a real sense of belonging and understand their community around them.

We welcome members of our community into our school to talk to the children and share their experiences to enable our learners to develop their thinking and self-awareness.

Our choir  performs locally and represent our school values impeccably well.

Please see our school calendar for events coming up.
