Term Dates for the Academic Year 2023-2024

Important Update - March 24

In order for us to deliver planned staff training in the most effective way, we need to make an adjustment to the planned INSET days for the summer term. We appreciate that any change of diary dates causes inconvenience for parents. We apologise for this, and thank you for your understanding.

Summer Term 

06.05.24 - May Bank Holiday - school closed for children 

27.05.24 - 31.05.24 - May Half Term Holiday 

14.06.24 - NO INSET DAY but school closes at 1.15pm for teacher conferencing  **Please note that this is a change of time**

23.07.24 - School closes for the end of the school year at 1.15 pm

Autumn Term 2024

02.09.24 - INSET DAY - school closed for children

03.09.24 - INSET DAY - school closed for children

04.09.24 - Children in Y1-6 return  to school / Stay & Play sessions for new entrants to Year Reception (Please see below for settling in arrangements for our new Reception and Nursery children)

28.10.24  to 01.11.24    OCTOBER HALF TERM HOLIDAY 

20.12.24 - School closes for the end of term at 1.15 pm 

 

Spring Term 2025

06.01.25 - INSET DAY - school closed for children

07.01.25 - All children return to school 

17.2.25 to 21.2.25 - FEBRUARY HALF TERM HOLIDAY 

04.04.25 - School closes for the end of term at 1.15 pm 

Summer Term 2025 (there is one additional INSET Day in this term tbc)

22.04.25 -  INSET DAY - school closed for children

23.04.25 - All children return to school

05.05.25 - May Bank Holiday - school closed for children 

26.05.25 to 30.05.25 - MAY HALF TERM HOLIDAY

22.07.25 - School closes for the end of school year at 1.15 pm

 

Settling in Arrangements for Nursery & Reception in September 2025 

Nursery Class 

03.09.24 - 11.09.24 - Home Visits. Our Nursery Team will visit you and your child at home to complete paperwork, get to know you and your child and gather information about how best to support them. 

12.09.24 -Children attending on a 30-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 11.30am (no lunch) 

13.09.24 - Children attending on a 30-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 12.30 (with lunch) 

16.09.24 - Children attending on a 30-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 1.30pm. Children attending on a 15-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 11.30am (no lunch) 

17.09.24 - Children attending on a 30-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 2.30pm. Children attending on a 15-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 12.30am (with lunch) 

18.09.24 - Children attending on a 30-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 3.00pm. Children attending on a 15-hour entitlement code are in school between 8.30am - 11.30am (no lunch)  

19.09.24  - From now, children attend for either 15 or 30 hours according to their entitlement code. 

 

Reception Class 

05.09.24 - Children in Year Reception attend school for either the morning or the afternoon session (you will be notified in which group your child is by the end of May).

06.09.24 - Children in Year Reception attend school for either the morning or the afternoon session

09.09.24 - Children in Year Reception attend school for either the morning or the afternoon session  

10.09.24 - Children in Year Reception attend school for either the morning or the afternoon session 

11.09.24 - ALL children in Year Reception attend school for the morning session only (collect at 11.45am) 

12.09.24 - ALL children in Year Reception attend school for the morning session & eat lunch (collect at 12.30pm) 

13.09.24 - ALL children in Year Reception attend school for the whole day (collect at 3.15pm)
