Send CofE Primary School is linked to the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Church Lane, Send, Surrey

St Mary the Virgin is the parish church for the village of Send and has housed Christian Worship for 800 years. The first record of a church in Send appears in William the Conqueror's record "The Domesday Book"

It is an Anglican (Church of England) church in the Woking Deanery which is part of the Diocese of Guildford. Services are held every Sunday throughout the year, and at the major festivals of Christmas and Easter. St. Mary's welcomes all who wish to come.

Children, parents and staff regularly visit and take part in acts of worship at our parish church of St Mary the Virgin. The clergy and members of the congregation visit school regularly to deliver elements of collective worship. Our children live our values through their community service by supporting as many church and community events as possible.
