We are pleased to introduce Mrs Melanie Perfect, our Child & Family Support Worker. Mrs Perfect’s role is to provide support to you and your family to enable your children to enjoy school and feel happy and safe.

What sort of issues can Mrs Perfect help with?

Mrs Perfect understands that being a parent is rewarding, but also one of the hardest jobs you will ever do. She offers a safe, non-judgmental place to discuss concerns, an informal listening ear, and understanding regarding the ups and downs of family life. She can help with:

  • Behaviour & Anxiety: Supporting parents experiencing difficulties managing behaviour, or children who are anxious/reluctant to come to school.

  • Attendance: Working with the attendance team to build relationships with families and remove barriers to attendance.

  • Family Difficulties: Supporting families through illness, separation, divorce, bereavement, domestic violence, or financial worries.

Support for Students

Mrs Perfect can support children in school with 1:1 or group sessions. She will always obtain your consent before starting work with your child.

Financial Support & Resources

If you are struggling to make ends meet, Mrs Perfect can guide you to sources of help. These include:

  • Pupil Premium: Checking eligibility for school funding, which grants access to free holiday clubs and food vouchers.

  • Woking Foodbank: Issuing vouchers for emergency food supplies.

  • The Jigsaw Project (The Lighthouse): Referrals for good quality pre-loved clothes, toys, and equipment (under 11s).
