Summer Term 2025 

26.05.25 to 30.05.25 - MAY HALF TERM HOLIDAY

14.07.25 -  INSET DAY - school closed for children

22.07.25 - School closes for the end of school year at 1.15 pm

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents that holidays taken during term time will not be authorised.
Unauthorised absences are liable to be considered for a Penalty Charge Notice in line with our school's attendance policy and local authority guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your child attends school regularly during term time to maximise their learning opportunities.

Autumn Term 2025

Wednesday 3rd September - INSET Day school closed to children

Thursday 4th September - Children in Y1-6 return to school. Stay & Play sessions for new EYFS children

Friday 5th September - EYFS children begin phased entry

Half Term Holiday - 27 October to 31 October 2025

Monday 3rd November- INSET Day school closed to children

Term ends for Christmas holiday at 1.15pm on 19 December 2025

 

Spring term 2026

Monday 5th January - INSET Day school closed to children

Tuesday 6th January - All children in EYFS-Y6 return to school

Half term holiday - 16 February to 20 February 2026

Monday 23rd February - INSET Day school closed to children

Term ends for Easter holidays at 1.15pm on 27 March 2026

 

Summer term 2026

Monday 13th April - INSET Day school closed to children

Tuesday 14th April- All children in EYFS-Y6 return to school

Half term - 25 May to 29 May 2026

Term ends for the Summer holidays at 1.15pm on 22 July 2026

 

Academic Year 2026-2027

Following consultations undertaken by Surrey County Council with schools, staff, and residents, it has been decided that community and voluntary-controlled schools will move to a 2-week autumn half-term break. This decision comes in response to feedback expressing a desire for this change, and the additional days for this extended break will be taken from the summer holiday period of that academic year.

As a voluntary-aided school we are free to set our own term dates but we have decided to follow the Surrey model dates for the 2026-2027 academic year.  We understand that changes to term dates can have an impact on families, and we wanted to give you advance notice of this adjustment for the 2026/27 academic year to help with your planning.

The confirmed term dates for the 2026/27 academic year are below. Please note that there will be 5 training days for staff where school will be closed (INSET days) - these dates are not yet confirmed and may slightly alter the start/ end date of terms. Dates for these INSET days will be confirmed by the end of September 2025. 

Autumn Term 2026

Start of term: 1st September 2026
Half term: 19th October to 30th October 2026
End of term: 18th December 2026

Spring Term 2027

Start of term: 4th January 2027
Half term: 15th February to 19th February 2027
End of term: 25th March 2027

Summer Term 2027 

Start of term: 12th April 2027
Half term: 31st May to 4th June 2027
End of term: 28th July 2027
