The 2026-27 academic year marks a very special milestone for our community: the 10th anniversary of Send C of E Primary School.

In September 2016, Send First School and St Bede’s Junior School came together to form a single, all-through primary school. This merger was designed to give local children a seamless educational journey from Reception right through to Year 6, while also replacing the ageing St Bede’s buildings with a wonderful modern facility on the Send First site.

While Send C of E Primary officially formed in September 2016, our students and staff didn't move into our brand-new building until April 2017. This unique timeline gives us the perfect excuse for a whole year of celebrations!

We will be kicking off the festivities with a Big Birthday Party and Fair on Sunday, 20th September 2026, and continuing to celebrate our heritage right through to the spring.

We look forward to welcoming past and present pupils, families, and the wider village community to celebrate a fantastic decade of learning and growing together.
