Internet Legends Assembly Inspires KS2 Pupils with MP Zöe Franklin

We were thrilled to host a special Be Internet Legends assembly for our Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) pupils, focusing on helping them become safer, more confident explorers of the online world.
The interactive assembly, delivered by representatives from Google and Parent Zone, brought the world of Interland Adventure to life, teaching our young learners essential online safety skills. We were also delighted to welcome Zöe Franklin, the Member of Parliament for Guildford, who came along to show her support and even played a small part in the assembly!
The session centred around the five core pillars of the Be Internet Legends program, which are crucial for navigating the internet wisely:
-
Be Internet Sharp: Think before you share.
-
Be Internet Alert: Check it's for real.
-
Be Internet Secure: Protect your private information and create strong passwords.
-
Be Internet Kind: Respect each other.
-
Be Internet Brave: When in doubt, talk to a trusted adult.
A huge well done to our Year 6 Ambassadors who helped make the assembly a success! They demonstrated fantastic leadership and commitment to the Internet Legends principles, even featuring in some of the photographs taken on the day.
We are so proud of all our KS2 pupils for their enthusiasm and for taking on board these vital lessons. With the internet becoming an ever-bigger part of their lives, equipping them with the knowledge to be kind, brave, and secure online is one of our top priorities.
