All other uniform items can be purchased from high street stores or supermarkets.

Our uniform suppliers sometimes produce additional items of clothing with the school logo e.g. coats but these are optional.

Changes to School Uniform from September 2026

The Department for Education (DfE) is introducing new statutory rules for both Primary and Secondary schools effective from September 2026. The goal of these nationwide changes is to ensure school uniforms remain affordable for all families by limiting the number of expensive branded items and allowing more items to be purchased from high-street retailers.

Under the new guidance, Primary Schools are restricted to a maximum of  3 branded items. To meet this requirement while keeping our pupils looking smart and distinctive, we have selected the following items:

All other items, including white polo shirts, uniform trousers, shorts, skirts or dresses, summer dresses and PE shorts can be purchased as generic items from any high-street store.

We are moving to plain white polo shirts for every pupil, from Reception through to Year 6 all year round (unless the summer dress is worn). This change means that ties will no longer be required for pupils in Year 5 and Year 6. We have made this decision for two main reasons. Firstly, it allows parents to buy affordable multipacks of plain shirts from any supermarket or high-street store. Secondly, we recognise that ties are no longer expected in most modern workplaces, and we want our uniform to reflect a practical, contemporary learning environment.

By choosing to keep the branded PE kit, we ensure the children look professional and distinctive during sports fixtures. Since PE kits are usually only worn once or twice a week, these high-quality items can be bought slightly larger and often last for two years, providing better long-term value.

Families can now begin planning for the 2026 academic year knowing that you only need to source three specific items from our official supplier, Valentino’s.

Everything else can be found at your preferred retailer, helping to drive down costs for all our families.

If you are in urgent need of uniform items, please contact  Mrs Melanie Perfect, our Child & Family Support Worker who may be able to help you.  You can email her on cfsw@sendcofe.co.uk

Lost Property

Unfortunately, we always have a vast amount of un-named items of clothing/drinks bottles etc. If your child is missing an item of named clothing please check with the class teacher or the office staff who will be happy to check the Lost Property storage cupboard.

All named items that make their way to the Lost Property box are returned to the child's class.

Lost Property is displayed in the playground at the end of each half term. Any unclaimed school logo items are washed and resold as pre-loved uniform,  all other items are recycled or donated to local charities.

Personal Belongings & Valuable Items

Children should NOT bring VALUABLE ITEMS into school.
The school will not accept any responsibility for their recovery or replacement in the case of loss, theft or damage.
Children are responsible for their own personal property and possessions while on school premises or engaged in school activities.
We strongly discourage pupils from bringing high value (monetary) or invaluable (sentimental) items to school. If these items are brought to school it is the owner's responsibility to ensure that they are kept safe.
