Is my child too ill for school?

Children with mild symptoms such as a runny nose, sore throat, or slight cough, who are otherwise well, CAN and SHOULD come to  school.

 

Children who have vomited or had an episode of diarrhoea should remain at home

for 48 hours after their last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea.

 

Children who have been prescribed antibiotic treatment for any illness should stay at home

for 24 hours after starting the course of medicine

 

Please inform the office by 9.15am if your child is unwell. You can leave a message on the answerphone or send a message to info@sendcofe.co.uk. When leaving a message, please give:

Your child's first and last name

Their class, year group or teacher

The full reason for absence

The office will follow up all unexplained absences after 9.15am each day.
